The 2026 Race Around the World for Education took place May 1 - 31.

How does it work?
During the month of May, participants from all around the world walk, run, and bike to raise money for a good cause. The race is entirely virtual – participants log their miles online, share photos of the fun, and track their progress on the leaderboard.

How do you join?
Signup is free, but we hope you'll consider a donation. You can sign up as an individual and join any team you like, or you can sponsor a team to boost our efforts even further. Let's all come together to motivate each other, build community, get moving and do some good!

Who can participate?
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join the race! While many participants hail from marketing research companies, we welcome participation from all realms. Invite your friends, family, neighbors – the more the merrier!

What happens to the funds raised?

The 2026 Race Around the World for Education focused on supporting the social and emotional learning of children by funding initiatives that strengthen mental health, build coping skills, and foster meaningful connections.

The grantees are:

  • Detroit Suzuki Academy of Music: Summer is a crucial learning period, specifically for underresourced students. Support Detroit Suzuki Academy of Music’s eight-week summer class session, where students attend robust group classes, receive note reading support, and prepare a summer concert.

  • EQJOY Co: Support programming in Nevada that empowers children and improves their emotional intelligence, and thereby their mental health and academic performance. Programs are run by EQJOY Co, a California-based 501(c)(3) public charity, in collaboration with Creative Solutions, the internal mental health team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada.

  • Marty's Orchid House: Provide optimal seating for vulnerable preschool children in Louisville. Funds will allow Marty’s Orchid House, a licensed day program serving children with autism and overlapping health concerns, to implement a new and improved seating system that enhances access to learning.

  • Start Lighthouse: Support social and emotional learning literacy initiatives across four embedded literacy hubs in the Bronx, which serve approximately 1,200 students in grades K-5. Each literacy hub is run by Start Lighthouse, a Bronx-based nonprofit that transforms underutilized school libraries into vibrant spaces.

  • Students Without Mothers: Support the delivery of Students Without Mothers’ group and individual life coaching and grief counseling services for students in Metro Atlanta. These services help students navigate both the academic and emotional challenges associated with the loss or absence of their mothers.
