The Marketing Research Education Foundation (MREF) is thrilled to announce a silent auction fundraiser taking place virtually and in conjunction with the Quirk’s Event – New York, running from 12 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 23 to 4 p.m. ET on Thursday July 30, 2026.
The research and insights community is invited to participate in this exciting new initiative. Proceeds will be used to expand educational opportunities for underserved children.
The auction will feature a curated selection of exclusive items and experiences donated by leaders within the insights industry. Featured highlights include:
Tickets to a 2026 New York Yankees game in the exclusive Delta SKY360° Suite.
TMRE 2026 All Access Pass.
Dinner at Four Twenty Five, a Jean-Georges Restaurant.
“We’re thankful for our generous donors who have made this Silent Auction possible,” said Steve Quirk, MREF executive board member. “We encourage everyone to check out the items and register to bid. I personally can’t wait for some competitive bidding wars – all for a good cause!”
In 2025, the MREF donated over $147,000 to projects that bridge the education gap for children globally. Past grants have supported children facing food scarcity, provided high-quality after-school programming, filled backpacks with school supplies, and more.
How to participate
Silent auction items are available to view online at www.biddingforgood.com/MREF, and bidding will run from July 23 through July 30. Winners will be notified shortly after the auction closes.
The auction is entirely virtual, and in-person attendance is not required to bid or win. [Please note: The Quirk's Event is a ticketed event that is run separately from MREF auction registration.]
