MREF Launches 4th Annual Race Around the World for Education

APRIL 1, 2024 | Saint Paul, MN – The Marketing Research Education Foundation (MREF) will hold the fourth annual Race Around the World for Education, a virtual race to help educate children around the world. Funds raised will support the work of four organizations focused on promoting education worldwide, providing learning opportunities for marginalized children.

During the race, individuals throughout the marketing research industry will log the miles they walk, bike, and run during the month of May 2024 – 31 days to complete a virtual race around the world and raise $100,000 to support global education for youth.

Rally your friends, family and colleagues to get moving and take part in an important cause. There is no charge to participate and you can sign up at www.mrgivesback.org/race. You are welcome to make a donation when you register.

Some fun facts:

  • Participants will log their miles on the race website as individuals or part of a company team and will be able to see their progress compared to others in the industry.

  • The top eight individuals with the highest number of logged miles, broken out by walk, run, bike, and other will each receive a prize.

  • All participants will receive a customized race bib and number that can be downloaded and printed as desired (and used as proof for insurance companies that support healthy activities!).

  • Participants will receive milestone badges when they reach goals: participation four days in a row, number of miles, etc.

  • There is an easy portal to share photos and encourage each other.

Registration and additional details can be found at www.mrgivesback.org/race.
