In May, the MREF hosted the 2023 Race Around the World for Education. Over 800 researchers participated to help raise money for vulnerable children around the world. With the help of all participants and sponsors, we raised $91,046 for Marty’s Orchid House, Start Lighthouse, Orphans’ Aid Society, and The Hogar Montiel Girls Association.
Ipsos was one of our amazing 2023 Victor Sponsors. This means the company donated $5,000 or more to help the vulnerable children around the world.
The company is no stranger to philanthropic work according to Susan Waltman, global president, Ipsos, and MREF executive board member.
“We are driven by connecting with our colleagues to make a difference in our world for the diverse people we research and serve. Through our Ipsos Foundation we have funded 98 projects in 43 different countries, for a total amount of over €2.6M,” says Waltman. “Over the years, we have built schools in Nepal, Ghana, and Zambia, provided books in the U.S.A, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Haiti, supported the education of children with severe illnesses in Russia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan.”
In addition to its financial contributions, Ipsos had over 100 employees from 30 different countries run, walk, and bike during the Race Around the World for Education.
